Bulan 9 hari itu seminar lebah peringkat kebangsaan, ni pada tarikh 16 - 17.10.2011 ade seminar lagi yg telah diadakan di Hotel Renaissance Kota Bharu. (1st time masuk hotel ni, jakun jap, hahaha)

Seminar Lebah Peringkat Kebangsaan & ApiExpo 2011

Seminar ni telah diadakan pada 29 September - 1 Oktober lepas kat Kuala Terengganu yg melibatkan beberapa agensi.. Seminar 1st ni adalah percubaan, sbbnya pada tahun depan Malaysia menjadi tuan rumah utk seminar apiculture peringkat antarabangsa kali ke-11 name omputihnye 11th Asian Apicultural Association (AAA) International Conference. Bangga siot.. hahaa..

Propolis

Propolis is a resinous mixture that honey bees collect from tree buds, sap flows, or other botanical sources n the bee saliva. It is used as a sealant for unwanted open spaces in the hive. Aku copy paste lagi senang.. hahaha.. 1 lg propolis ni dikenali sbgi 'hives defensives' sbb nye propolis ni ade ciri2 cam 'anti insect, anti fungus, anti bacteria n anti virus'. Senang je nak tau propolis ni :-

- Lembik n lembut dari wax

Kandungan 'chemical compound' dalm propolis ni sgt kompleks dan x sama dr 1 propolis ke propolis yg lain sebb depend pada geography, types of resin, pokok dan byk lagi la, sama cam honey. lebih kurng 300 compound da kenalpasti. Secara umumnye propolis terdiri daripada :-

1. resin 50%
2. wax 30%
3. aromatic oil 10%
4. Pollen 5%
5. other organic compound (protein, amino acids, vitamins, minerals)
*Ni secara umum, propolis sentiasa berubah cam dinyatakan di atas.

Propolis ni tgg antioxidant compound lebih2 flavonoid.. Sape2 nak awek muda bole try.. InsyaAllah mujarab..

Khasiat
1. Infections – It is believed that its antimicrobial effects can defend the body against bacteria, fungus, viruses, and parasites.
2. Wound Healing – Good results have been reported on the use of this product on burns, surgical wounds, and other topical wounds. (Applied topically.)
3. Antioxidants- The flavonoids act as antioxidants.
4. Herpes – A study found that an ointment made of propolis is able to heal genital herpetic lesions.
5. Immune System- Enhances the immune system
6. Liver Health- A few laboratory studies found that propolis may have positive effects on the liver by protecting it from alcohol or environmental toxins.
7. Dental Conditions – Holds promise for dental conditions like gingivitis, mouth ulcers, and periodontal disease.

Propolis ni ade allergic pada sesetengah org.. tp dlm 1/100 atau 1/1000..
Propolis bole makan terus dari sarang tp x leh makan banyak sebb bole sakit perut.. Kalau nak makan kene makan sekali ngan kacang sbb propolis ni 'fat soluble'.

Skarng banyak bentuk propolis cam tablet n solution.. cam aku prepared kat lab 'propolis suspension' 3 drops sekali consume.. Tp yang propolis aku prepared bukan dari lebah madu tapi Trigona.

Ni dulu sdkit coretan.
